Sometimes bands give it a good shot, but don't make it huge, they'll sell a few 10,000 copies but that's about it, maybe even get a repress or two way down the road, and that's okay. If it weren't for a lot of these bands, a lot of people might not have found their place in Japanese Pop

Fujimaru Band

Fujimaru Band was the name of the band made to back a Japanese Idol named Hideki Saijo in 1973. The band eventually decided to release their first and only album (with a single) in 1977, unfortunately after that, they disbanded. nonetheless, they were a great band and the main member (Yoshino Fujimaru) still plays and performs.

Char

Char is known as one of the most influential guitarists of Japan. He has aged quite well and still performs, his name however has somewhat faded for the newer fans of Japanese music.
